Not hardly. Let me tell you that things have changed immensely since my last book that was published in 2009. Back then, it was not readily available for indie authors to get their books on iPads, Kindles and Nook devices. Today, however, it is now possible for indie authors to get their books pretty much everywhere.
I have spent a lot of nights staying up late after work to get my latest book, Meet Wally Street. The Reason You're Stupid, available for sale not only in printed book form, but also for all of these popular devices. As of today, I have accomplished one major task and that was to get it on Amazon in printed book form and in addition, in the Kindle format. Even if you do not have a Kindle device, you can still get a Kindle app on your iPad, or Android tablet. In addition, if you have Windows 8.1, then you can also download the free Kindle app for Windows tablets and computers, too. Further, if you have a Mac, then you can get the Kindle app for Mac also.
Even though it is not on iBooks or Nook today, please rest assured that it will be soon. I am diligently working on it behind the scenes. It is currently in review and it has to be 100% accurate. If there are any errors, then I have to correct them and resubmit my request. So, there is a little back and forth that goes on when you have a 91,000 plus page book. I think I am at the 100% accuracy mark, but I have to pass the tests to be certain.
The point that I wanted to make is that you can buy it today with the free Kindle app on most devices and read it that way right now.
Do you think that you are smart? Trying to convince people that they are stupid is a monumental task. One thing that I know for sure is that you will be much smarter after reading this book, than you were before you read it. That I know without a doubt.
By the way, you can go through life adhering to other people's opinion of yourself, or you can dare to be different. Although I am a very introverted person, in this book, I have "let the dogs out." In other words, the Wally Streets of the world are going to hate my stinking guts.
Enjoy.

Intended Audience for Meet Wally Street
The intended audience for my soon to be released book, "Meet Wally Street. The Reason You're Stupid," are the people currently doing business with banks, insurance companies and Wall Street firms. A secondary audience for my book is directed at those who use or who are thinking about using those online legal document preparation companies. Before you make a stupid decision and buy your legal documents online, I suggest that you give this a little more thought.
If you have already gone online and had your legal documents prepared, then I have a question or two for you. How do you know that the hospital will accept that Health Care Power of Attorney? In addition, how will you know if a bank or brokerage firm will accept your Durable Power of Attorney which only springs into action upon you being declared legally incompetent and unable to take care of your affairs?
The truth is that you have no earthly idea. Don't you see? Just because you "created it" does not mean that these documents will perform as expected.
Do you know the rules in your state for Durable Powers of Attorneys? In my state of Florida, a little over a year ago, the law completely changed regarding Durable Powers of Attorneys. Does your self-created document meet these new requirements?
Do you realize that with some online legal document firms, they put language in their version of a Durable Power of Attorney document that allows your agent to open accounts in your name? They do not even have to tell you about it either. Conversely, what if you need to have an account opened in your name, but the proper language is not in the document? In my practice, I rarely ever see a brokerage firm allow an account to be opened on someone else's behalf based on an online legal document firm's Durable Power of Attorney. Most of the time, or let me rephrase that, almost all of the time, they are rejected due to inadequate language. You did not know this, did you? Creating the document yourself is only half of the process. Don't you see?
What about the recent changes in Medicare and Medicaid, because of the Affordable Care Act? Do you know about those changes? Do you know if your newly created legal documents will help you if you have a long term care issue? Will they protect your assets? Odds are they will not protect your assets, because you just bought a living trust online.
You have "created" some legal documents, but the reality is that you have no idea if these documents will work. Why? Because you are not an attorney! You do not know the laws in your state!
In my book, I give my readers example after example of how people who thought they were real smart by using those online legal document companies to save a buck. However, they soon found out the hard way what a huge and costly mistake that was for their families.Instead of having the properly prepared documents done by an Estate Planning or Elder Law attorney, they soon found out that the assets intended for their heirs were lost to taxes, or the nursing home owner. That is instead of their heirs. Not very smart on their part.
Before you go online to one of those online legal document firms, you just might want to buy a copy of my book first. You might appreciate what I tell you in the book.
I am waiting only on Amazon to add my book to their web site and Kindle to get my book formatted for Kindle devices. If you have a Kindle app for iPad or a Kindle app for Android devices, then you will be able to buy my book on those devices, too. The book will be available at most fine booksellers also.
It should be available to all on February 1st.

Enough Already!
Do not let anyone tell you that writing a book is easy. Especially one that is over 91,600 words and 418 pages long. I actually believed that I was almost through with it on December 1st of last year. Ha! No luck on that wishful thinking.
I wanted to go through the editing process and try and find any and every possible typo or mistake. With 91,600 plus words, it is a very tedious process. Finally, I believe that I can say that we have finished the editing process. However, I am going to order one last proof to make sure there are no glaring typos that jump out at me. Hopefully, the editing process has been a success and we will not have any more typos in it. If we do, then too bad. Enough already!
Coming very soon to http://www.amazon.com, Kindle and iPad:
It is obvious that if you have a Kindle reader, then when you buy it from Amazon, then it will appear on your Kindle device. However, did you know that if you download the free Kindle app on your iPad, then when you buy the book from Amazon it will show up on your iPad? You just choose the iPad option when you buy it from Amazon. Of course, you can always order the book itself if you are old school like me and like to feel the book in your hands.
Take a small risk and buy it. You will be extremely glad that you did. I will make you think critically and also make you laugh describing my fictional friend Wally Street and his antics. Look for it next week on Amazon.
Thanks.

Meet Wally Street. The Reason You're Stupid.
There comes a time when you are writing a book that you have to say that's it. I think I have reached that point. As an author, I don't know if you are ever really satisfied that you have written everything that you wanted to write about. In my case, I think 417 pages is enough. There are a lot of white pages in it and the paragraphs are spaced out to make it easy to read. Further, all chapters start on the right side as I was told that this is a best practice for authors. So, if I had to squeeze it down by eliminating the white space, then it would probably be only about 300 pages.
The reason that I wrote this book, aptly titled, Meet Wally Street. The Reason You're Stupid, is because, well, I think people are stupid to do business with banks, insurance companies and Wall Street firms. You would not believe how often I see the same investments being sold to everyone who deals with these firms. It has gotten to the point that I can almost close my eyes and guess what is in their account based on what firm they are doing business with. You see, these firms that employ our dear friend Wally Street are in business to generate revenue. Unfortunately, they want it from you.
These firms sell the same products. Why? Because that is where the money is my friend.
Most people think they are way too smart to be fooled by the likes of a Wally Street. However, after reading this book, they will realize that they were way too confident. I realize trying to convince people that they are making a huge mistake doing business with Wally Street is not going to be an easy task on my part to accomplish. Nevertheless, I am kind of bull headed and I will give it a shot.
There is a lot of content and stories related to estate planning and elder care planning in the book. In my opinion, the attorneys who help people in these areas are some of the best friends that you will ever have. These professionals can save you thousands, if not millions of dollars with their expertise. As I point out in the book, using online legal document firms can cost you and your family a ton of money. I'm sorry, but do it yourself legal document creation is probably one of the stupidest things you can ever do. There are several stories in my book to prove it, too.
My character, Wally Street is pervasive throughout the book. I point out and contrast the routine advice of Wally Street that all ends up at the same place: Selling you products that generate the most revenue.
What you will discover is that there are parts of the book that will make you laugh, and perhaps, even cry. However, after reading it, I think you will be a convert to my way of thinking. Never again do business with the likes of a Wally Street.
Look for the book on Amazon and Kindle after the first of the year. If you are smart, then you will buy it.
